| »GETTING STARTED

STEP 1: REGISTER
It is very simple. Just click on the "Register" link on the top portion of all pages or Fill-out the registration form in the Sign-In page. You also have the option to use OPENID. You can login using your YAHOO!, Gmail, Multiply or Facebook account. Click here for more information on OPENID.
REMINDER: Make sure that you have fully read and understood the User Agreement and entered correctly your email address since this will be the primary means of activating your account.
STEP 2: ACTIVATE
Next, you need to activate your account through your registered email address. Just follow the directions shown in the message sent to your registered email address. Once you activate your account, you can use and enjoy all the member benefits.
STEP 3: BUY AND SELL
Now you can start using BuyandSellPlus services!
If you're selling an item, go to Classifieds or Auction sections to post an ad. Give the details of your item and upload up to 7 photos. The ad will be on display for 60 days with option to display it continuously.
If you're looking for an item, you can browse or search the website. Ads are listed by categories to make it easier for you to look for what you need. You may also post an ad at the Looking For section. With this, you could receive offers from other members. Your ad will be on display for 60 days with option to display it continuously.
If you're trading an item for an equally hot item, go to Trading Corner section to post an ad. Give the details of your item and the item you want in exchange. The ad will be on display for 60 days with option to display it continuously.
STEP 4: CONTACT SELLER or BUYER
You can contact the seller directly if seller decides to publish his contact information. Or you can send him a private message.
BNSP Suggestion: For a safer transaction use private message. All messages are recorded and can be used as proof or evidence in cases of fraud or disputes.
STEP 5: COMPLETE a TRANSACTION
You have the option to meet in person, deliver the item, or avail of BNSP SafeExchange. BNSP SafeExchange is an escrow service wherein BNSP SafeExchange will hold payment and forward it to the seller once item is confirmed received by the buyer.

Why do I need to activate my account?
To complete the registration process you must activate your account through your registered email address. Only activated account can avail of BuyandSellPlus services.
When do I activate my account?
To be able to access and use BuyandSellPlus services you are required to activate your account:
- After registration,
- Every time you change your email address,
- When your account becomes inactive (no activity for 6 months);
What happens after activating my account?
You can successfully sign-in and start using BuyandSellPlus.

How do I create and update my user profile?
To create and update your user profile, from My BNSP, click "My Account" then click the appropriate section that you want to edit. Make sure to press the "Update" button after your changes have been made.
IMPORTANT: It's important to keep this information accurate and up-to-date. If any of your information changes, you don't need to register again.
How can my account be inactive or suspended?
Your account can be INACTIVE when our system detects that there is no user activity for six (6) months since your last login. You will be required to reactivate your account to access BuyandSellPlus.
Your account can be SUSPENDED when you three user reports in one (1) month. You're not allowed to login temporarily and are required to reactivate your account to access BuyandSellPlus.
How do I delete my account(s)?
Deleting your account prevents you to use BuyandSellPlus services. To delete an account, email us at help@buyandsellplus.com. For a faster response to your request, please include the username(s), password(s), complete name(s), birth date(s), email address(es), and reason for deleting in your message. How do I search for an item?
BuyandSellPlus offers various ways of searching for items so that you can find exactly what you are looking for. You can search by:
BROWSE: You can browse by sections, category and sub-category. Items are listed according to date and time the ad was posted, with most recent ads posted on top.
SEARCH: You can look for a particular item through our search engine. Just type the item you are looking for. Results are listed according to date and time the ad was posted, with the most recent relevant ads posted on top.
You can sort or rearrange records by item name (a-z or z-a), price (low-high or high-low), location (a-z or z-a) or date posted (new-old or old-new), just click the field name.
You can also refine or narrow down the results by filtering or by modifying your search criteria. You can also use our Advance Search feature for a more precise result.
You can save ads you're interested in as Bookmarks for easier search and access.
I cannot find what I'm looking for, what do I do?
Post an ad in the "Looking For" section and broadcast it. Describe the item or service you need or want. Just click on the "POST AN AD" link on the top portion of all pages. Select the Looking For option. Give the details of your item, upload up to 7 pictures of your item.

Why is my ad censored/deleted? or Why is my feedback masked?
There are various reasons why your ad was censored/deleted or feedback was masked. Our system rejects texts or pictures that contain any of the following:
- Abusive language of any kind (i.e., vulgarity, racism)
- Prohibited or illegal items and services
- Unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked material
- Overt sexual innuendo

What items and services can I sell?
You can sell ANYTHING except those listed below:
- Any item that is harmful to minors, obscene or otherwise objectionable.
- Illegal or restricted weapons and accessories such as, firearms, silencers, scopes, switchblade knives, any concealed weapon, any explosive device and martial arts weapons.
- Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia (including items to grow, manufacture or distribute the same), prescription drugs, herbal medicine and medical devices that requires fitting by a certified practitioner or licensed seller.
- Unauthorized/Pirated copies of software, music, video games, movies, photos or other media.
- "Fake" versions of a name brand product unless specified in the ad that item is a REPLICA or is FAKE.
- Government-issued identification documents, whether authentic or counterfeit, (e.g., fake Ids for age verification, fake government credentials, passports, green cards, birth certificates, marriage certificates, drivers license).
- Non-authentic collectibles, memorabilia or antiques.
- Any item used for unauthorized entry to a place or vehicle including lock-picking device, vehicle master keys, etc.
- Endangered species as well as products made from any parts of an animal.
- Any item used for hacking, jamming or obtaining unauthorized access to computer, banking, telecommunication and other systems.
- Bodies, body parts, bodily fluids such as "clean" urine drug tests, etc.
- Explosives or any hazardous material or restricted chemical.
- Stocks and securities.
- Pyramid schemes.
- Any used goods not appropriate for resale for safety, health and other reasons.
- Services that promote prostitution or that violate human and intellectual property rights.
How do I sell my item?
There are two ways of selling in BuyandSellPlus – Classifieds and Auction. You can use Classifieds for selling and advertising your items/services with a fixed or undisclosed price. Auction is for selling your items to the highest bidder.
It's very easy. Just click on the "POST AN AD" link at the left-hand side of the page. Select the Classifieds or Auction option. Give the details of your item, upload up to 8 pictures of your item.

Just click on the "POST AN AD" link at the left-hand side of the page. Select the Trading Corner option. Give the details of your item and the item you want in exchange, upload up to 8 pictures of your item, and choose your preferred criteria for Hot Grabs, Priority Posting and Featured Item.
Your ad will be on display for 60 days with option to continuously display ad without expiration for FREE.
How can a potential buyer contact me?
Buyers can contact you by clicking the Contact [username] link on the item page and on the user's profile page. How do I pay for an item?
There are a number of ways to pay on BuyandSellPlus. Most sellers offer more than one option. Some payment options offer more protection than others. So be sure to select a method of payment that makes you feel comfortable and protected.
Make sure to contact user if you have questions about payment or delivery details. Common payment methods available include:
- Cash
- Personal Check
- Money transfer or money order
- G-Cash or Smart Money
- Bank Deposit
- Cash Wallet (Click here for more information)

How do I place a bid?
It's easy! Carefully review the item and click the "Bid Now" link. Enter your bid then click the "Submit" button.
You can also click the "Buy Now" link to purchase the item right away without waiting for the auction to end.
Can I cancel a bid?
If you are the winning bidder retracting a bid is not allowed. You can only retract or cancel bids in case of any of the following:
- Item was awarded to you even if auction has not ended.
- The description of an item you have bid on has changed significantly.
- You can't reach the seller. This means that you have tried sending him a private, email or text message but received no reply or tried calling him but his number is unreachable or doesn't work.

Why do I need to update the status of my ad?
"My Ads" serves as the central area to manage your ad postings. You can use "My Ads" to edit an ad, change/update status, delete or repost. It is very important that you update the status of your ad to avoid unwanted or spam messages from potential buyers and sellers.
When and how do I repost an ad?
Go to "My Ads", click the section where your ad is posted, check the appropriate ad(s) then click "Repost" button. Remember: You can only repost expired ads. Ads by default are published for 60 days but you have the option to continuously post the ad (no expiration).
Can I edit my ad?
It depends on the section of your ad. For ads posted in Classifieds/Trading Corner, you can edit your ad anytime. But for ads posted in Auction, you can ONLY edit your ad if NO bid has been placed yet. Go to My BNSP>>My Ads, click the section your ad is posted and click "Edit" to update your ad.
Can I end my ad before it expires?
Again, it depends on the section of your ad. For ads posted in Classifieds/Trading Corner, you can delete your ad anytime. But for ads posted in Auction, you can ONLY delete or end your auction if NO bid has been placed yet. You can also award your item to the highest bidder even before the auction ends. Go to My BNSP>>My Ads, click the section your ad is posted and click "End" to end your auction or select the ads you wish to delete.
What happens if I sold/swapped an item?
You have to update the status of your ad to avoid unwanted or spam messages from potential buyers and sellers.

How do I contact a user?
You can contact a user directly if contact information is published in the website. In case a user prefers to keep his/her contact information private you can contact him/her by sending a private message.
All your sent and received messages are documented by folders depending on the nature of the message. We encourage our users to utilize our Private Message feature when communicating with other members. This will serve as a document/proof/evidence in cases of fraud, disputes or request to delete a feedback.
Is sending a Private Message free?
Yes, sending a private message to a user's mailbox is FREE. |

Feedback is made up of comments and ratings given by other members you've bought from, sold to or transacted with. These responses are valuable pointers and basis of your reputation and credibility as a buyer or seller on BuyandsellPlus. To establish a good character make sure that you're dealing with respect and honesty. When and how do I give a feedback?
To help us build a more secure and open community always give a feedback after or during a transaction. Go to My BSNP, type the username in the search box then click "Give Feedback" link.
Can I delete a fabricated or unjust feedback?
No, feedbacks are permanent. So always take extra precaution in dealing with other members and giving a feedback. In case you receive a fabricated or unjust feedback email us at help@buyandsellplus.com, please include relevant information.

Can I block a member? How do I block and unblock a member?
Yes, from a user's profile page or search a member results page you can block/unblock or bookmark a user. You can't send and receive messages or feedback to a blocked member, place a bid or buy in any of his or your items and bookmark you. |

Hot Grabs displays your ad randomly on the homepage. A minimal fee of Php10.00 or 15 Points per day will be deducted from your BNSP Load or BNSP Points, respectively. With a minimum ad placement of 7 days.
Featured Items
Featured Item places your ad on the Featured item slot in a specific category. A minimal fee of Php7.00 or 8 Points per day will be deducted from your BNSP Load or BNSP Points, respectively. With a minimum ad placement of 7 days.
Paid Listing
Paid Listing highlights your ad on the regular page ranking. A minimal fee of Php5.00 or 5 Points per day will be deducted from your BNSP Load or BNSP Points, respectively. With a minimum ad placement of 7 days.
Featured Seller
Featured Seller displays your profile in all pages. A minimal fee of Php7.00 or 8 Points per day will be deducted from your BNSP Load or BNSP Points, respectively. With a minimum ad placement of 7 days.
Red Tag
Red Tag displays your ad randomly on the homepage and related item pages. It increases your chances of selling your item instantly. By enrolling your item here, you agree to give an incrementing discount depending on the number of days chosen.
